Open Goaaal Standard
£209 listed UK price
The Standard combines a goal, rebound net and backstop. The UK store advertises free shipping on goals. Check the final price, stock and delivery to your postcode before ordering.
Who should consider it
A family with a suitable grass garden who wants a shooting target and surrounding netting to help contain missed shots.
When to choose something else
If your child mainly wants short passing practice, or you need equipment for a patio or frequent trips to the park, compare a compact board or portable net instead.

Happy Jump Football Rebounder Net (1 x 1 m, 4 angles)
Portable net · 1 x 1 m, steel frame, tool-free set-up · ASIN B0D1VBTHG5
Who it suits
Families who want a sturdy net that goes up in minutes without tools. The listing gives four rebound angles (about 70° to 35°) and a 25 mm steel frame with a honeycomb net for a steady bounce.
When to pick something else
At 1 x 1 m it is a touch-and-passing target, not a goal. If your child mainly wants to shoot, look at Open Goaaal or a larger double-sided net.

Football Master Premium Rebounder Net (100 x 100 cm)
Adjustable-angle frame · 100 x 100 x 100 cm, 4.8 kg · ASIN B08K94N8K3
Who it suits
Younger players who want one net they can tilt for ground passes, volleys and chest control. The steel frame folds flat, and the page lists a 1-year warranty.
When to pick something else
The page does not say what surface it suits, so check how you will peg or weigh it down on your own lawn or patio before buying.

FORZA Wave Football Rebound Board (Standard or XL)
Passing / rebound board · HDPE board, steel legs, sandbag included · ASIN B0CMJGKVFK
Who it suits
Children working on passing accuracy and first touch. It has a smooth side for predictable returns and a wave side for unpredictable ones, and the angle adjusts for ground passes, half volleys and volleys.
When to pick something else
It is a board, not a net, so it will not catch shots. The listing has only a handful of reviews so far. Check which size you are buying: Standard and XL are on the same page.

BAGAIL Double Sided Rebounder Net (120 x 120 cm)
Double-sided net · 120 x 120 cm, 25 mm steel poles · ASIN B0D1C4FPHF
Who it suits
Two children training together, or one child who wants a bigger target. The triangular frame has a rebound net on each side, and the angle adjusts for ground passes, volleys, chest control and headers.
When to pick something else
It needs more space than a 1 m net. The listing does not say which surface it suits, so check how you will hold it down on your lawn or patio.

Adjustable Football Rebound Net (62 x 62 cm, folds flat)
Small folding net · 62 x 62 cm, powder-coated steel · ASIN B09N6PM6KJ
Who it suits
Younger children and small gardens, or families who want a cheap first rebounder. It folds flat for storage and has two angle settings.
When to pick something else
The rating on the page is lower than the others here, and the target is small. If you can spend more, the Happy Jump net above is the sturdier pick.

FLICK Urban Mini Wall Football Rebounder (66 x 31 cm)
Compact mini wall · 66 x 31 cm (product 71 x 38 x 20 cm) · ASIN B0CGM31CLK
Who it suits
Small spaces. It is an aluminium frame with a high-tension mesh, light enough to move, and the listing says ground pegs are included.
When to pick something else
It is a small target, so it suits passing and touch work more than shooting. If your child wants to hit the ball hard, a larger net or a goal with a backstop is safer for windows and fences.

Measure first, then pick a size.
For Open Goaaal, the manufacturer lists a flat grass installation area of 27 ft 9 in wide × 6 ft 9 in deep—approximately 8.46 m × 2.06 m. The setup requires real grass with soil.
The UK page also gives 8.2 m × 2 m, which is not an exact conversion of those feet-and-inches measurements. Use the larger allowance for initial planning and confirm the current installation diagram before buying.
That footprint is for the equipment. You still need room in front for shooting, movement and retrieving balls. Measure your usable lawn rather than the whole garden, including space taken by fences, planting and paths.
Ask who will assemble it and where your child will stand. A product photograph cannot tell you whether a shot or a missed ball will stay clear of windows, roads or other people.
How to choose: age and practice type
For ages 6 to 14, the practice your child enjoys matters more than an age label, and most listings do not give one. Younger children usually do well with a small net or a mini wall. Older children often want a bigger target or a passing board for faster work.
| What your child wants | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Shooting at a goal in a grass garden | A goal with surrounding backstop netting, such as Open Goaaal |
| Repeated passes along the ground | A passing board such as the FORZA Wave, on a smooth, suitable surface |
| Receiving a ball through the air | An adjustable-angle net such as the Football Master |
| A small garden or patio | A mini wall or a compact net with a weighted base |
| Occasional practice without another purchase | A partner or a suitable wall you have permission to use |
Surface: real grass takes pegs. Artificial grass, patios and hard ground usually need a weighted base or sandbags, so look for that in the listing. Do not choose equipment on the promise of academy selection; a product cannot guarantee a football outcome.
Before you order
- Confirm the current assembly instructions, anchoring requirements and full footprint.
- Check delivery and stock for your address, especially if it is a birthday present.
- Read the seller’s current returns conditions and who pays return carriage for a bulky item.
- Check replacement parts and storage arrangements before committing to a permanent garden setup.
Questions parents ask
What is a football rebounder?
A football rebounder is a net, board or frame that sends the ball back when your child kicks or passes it. It lets them practise passing, first touch and shooting alone, without needing a partner every time.
What age is a football rebounder good for?
Most children from about 6 can enjoy a small net or board, and it stays useful into the teens. Amazon listings rarely state a clear age range, so choose by size and the practice your child wants rather than by an age label.
Can I use a football rebounder on artificial grass?
Some can, but check the listing. The FORZA Wave board page lists grass, turf and indoor use, with steel legs and a sandbag. Open Goaaal needs real grass with soil. For the rest, the pages we checked do not state a surface.
Is a wall as good as a rebounder?
A wall gives a hard, fast return and costs nothing, but only if you have permission to use it and clear space around it. A rebounder gives a softer, more varied return and can be moved or packed away. Try a wall first if you are unsure.
What size football rebounder should I buy?
Measure your usable lawn first, then leave room in front for your child to move. Small boards and mini walls (about 66 to 100 cm wide) suit small gardens. Nets around 1.5 m and larger need more room. Open Goaaal needs about 8.46 m x 2.06 m of flat grass.
