How we use your information

For the newsletter, we store your email address, language edition, signup page, country code and signup time. Cloudflare stores the signup record. Resend sends our emails and receives your email address to do so. We never sell the list. Unsubscribe from any email in one click, or write to hello@academyparent.com to have your address deleted.

Website analytics

For everyone, our own server counts page visits without cookies or any visitor ID: we store only the date, the page, the referring website, the country and the campaign name, as daily totals. Nothing is stored on your device and no IP address is kept.

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to measure page visits and affiliate-link clicks, including which UK or US guide and button was used. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visits. We do not send newsletter emails, form contents or children’s details to Analytics. Advertising personalisation is disabled. You can decline or change your choice using Analytics preferences at the bottom of any page. Declining leaves our Google Analytics tag unloaded; withdrawing clears its first-party cookies and reloads the page.

Comic book photos

If you buy a personalised comic book, you upload one or two photos of your child, plus their first name, age and position. We use your photos only to draw your kid’s book. We delete them after delivery. Photos are kept in a private storage area that only we can open, and we never post or share them. Write to hello@academyparent.com and we will delete them sooner.

Football IQ email list

The game email list is separate from the weekly newsletter. We store your adult email address, signup source, the time you joined and the version of the consent you gave. We use these details for Football IQ development updates, invitations and feedback requests. We do not ask for your child’s name or date of birth.

The waitlist is stored using Cloudflare’s database service. To withdraw consent or delete your entry, email hello@academyparent.com from the address you signed up with. Future game emails will include a way to leave the list.

The free game is hosted at play.academyparent.com and has its own game privacy information.
